Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane was the city where she was raised. Daughter of British parents. Clemens started acting in Australian television during high school. In 2006, she appeared in a role as Juliet in an episode of Blue Water High and in 2007, as Alison as Alison in Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens appeared as Harper for the Showtime drama Love My Way that year and received nominations for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2007 Logie Awards for the role. Clemens was seen in the film Dream Life in 2008. MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She played small roles on the TV series All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the year 2009. Clemens was the model for Jan Logan's jewellery that year.Clemens made the move her home to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens was on screen as Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the film Wasted on the Young. Clemens played alongside Gregg Sulkin in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Cary Elwes, Samantha Mathis and Cary Elwes. The drama was an adaptation of the 1951 novel of the same title by young adult novelist Madeleine L'Engle.She was the teenage Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The film Silent Hill 3 was the sequel to Silent Hill. Based on the Silent Hill 3 survival horror game, the horror movie was in the vein of the games Silent Hill 3. Clemens starred as Valentine Wannop the young suffragette Valentine Wannop. Clemens was the first actress to make her debut in film in 2012's horror No One Lives with Luke Evans. She also appeared in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same title. Catherine Wilson was Isla's mother. Clemens portrays Tawney talbot in Rectify (2013) which was created by Ray McKinnon for the Sundance Channel. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens star as the main characters in The Girl Who Invented Kissing, an independent film.
